Ingredient On Hand
Quantity on hand against your threshold, and a shop list of what is low or out.
Order Ingredient List makes an ingredient shopping list for cake orders from the cakes you have ordered, each recipe’s quantities and what is in your kitchen. The sheet works out what you still need to buy.
Need more than one sheet? All twelve are $77.00. One by one they add up to $83.91.

One page of two, whole. The file has more.

Order Ingredient List turns this week’s cake orders into a buy list. You type the cakes ordered, each recipe’s quantities and what is in your kitchen. The sheet multiplies each recipe by the number of cakes, subtracts what you have and shows what is still needed. Zero means you have enough.
Pick Order, then the cake and the count. Zero cakes buys nothing, and it is not an error.
Recipe rows hold cake, item, unit and quantity per cake. On hand rows hold the item and the quantity you have, zero allowed.
Qty required and Qty to buy are locked formulas. Zero means you have enough.
Two cardamom honey layer cakes and three lemon olive oil loaves: eight ingredients on the list, and honey is already covered.
Say which cakes are ordered and how many. The sheet multiplies each recipe, subtracts what you have and lists only what is still needed.
Excel opens the .xlsx file as it is. For Google Sheets, upload the file to Google Drive and open it with Google Sheets. There is a How to use tab in the file.
Each file stands alone. These three are the ones bakers open side by side.

Quantity on hand against your threshold, and a shop list of what is low or out.

Supplier, item, last price and packs to reorder, with the line cost worked out.

Type the week start. Every cake due in that week is flagged and counted.
For cake, the first month usually means boxes, boards and liners plus a steady list of ingredients. Order Ingredient List shows the ingredients this week’s cake orders need, and what is still left to buy.
Ingredient On Hand is the sheet for that: it lists each ingredient with its quantity, unit and location. Order Ingredient List is different: it works backwards from this week’s orders to what you still need to buy.
For a baker, an inventory list includes the item, how much you have, the unit, where it is kept, what a pack costs, when it expires and the level where you reorder. Order Ingredient List only needs the item and the quantity you have, with zero allowed.
List each ingredient with the pack price, the pack amount and the amount you use, then add the lines. Batch Recipe Cost does that. Order Ingredient List is for buying, not for cost: it shows what to buy for this week’s orders.
Cost each ingredient for the amount you use and add the lines. Batch Recipe Cost does this for a recipe and shows the cost per cake. Order Ingredient List does not calculate cost.
Order Ingredient List is not a free template: it costs $11.00 and is an editable .xlsx file. It opens in Excel, and in Google Sheets after you upload it to Google Drive.
