Cake Price List holds one row for every cake you sell. You type the cake, the size, what it costs you and the price you charge. The sheet works out the margin on each row and shows a check: OK when the price covers the cost, Under cost when it does not, and Enter price when it is missing.
Type the cake, the size, what it costs you and the price you charge.
Margin is a locked formula: price minus cost, divided by price.
A tick and OK means the price covers the cost. A triangle and the words Under cost means it does not. A dash and Enter price means a price is missing.

Most price lists are a column of numbers. This one checks every row against its cost, in words and symbols, so it still reads in black and white when you print it.
Excel opens the .xlsx file as it is. For Google Sheets, upload the file to Google Drive and open it with Google Sheets. There is a How to use tab in the file.
Each file stands alone. These three are the ones bakers open side by side.

One cake in, a selling price out: ingredients, your time, supplies and margin.

Cost one cake recipe by the batch: ingredient lines in, cost per cake out.

Customer, delivery or pickup, total, deposit and the balance still due.
Know the cost first, then set a price that covers it and leaves the margin you want. Keep every cake you sell in one list so the sizes and flavors stay in line with each other. Cake Price List shows the margin for each row and flags any price that is under cost.
The price of a sheet cake depends on your cost and the margin you want, so no single number fits every baker. Add the sheet cake as a row with its cost and price, and the margin and the check tell you whether the price holds up.
Charge at least what the cake costs you plus the margin you want. Cake Price List shows the margin on every row and flags any price that is under cost, so you see which cakes are priced too low.
Cake Price List cannot tell you how other shops set their prices. It shows the margin on each of your own rows, so you can see whether your prices cover your costs.
A price list can be a plain table with the cake, the size and the price. Cake Price List is not free, it costs $5.99, but it adds your cost and a margin check on every row.
List each cake with its size, its cost and its price, then work out the margin as price minus cost, divided by price. Cake Price List does this on every row and checks each price against its cost.
Know what the cake costs you, then set a price that covers it and leaves the margin you want. Cake Price and Margin gives you the price for one cake, and Cake Price List keeps every price in one place.
